Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need finds persecution intensifying in 20 nations

Persecution of Christians is worsening in 20 countries around the world, according to the Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need. Its 2011-13 report Persecuted and Forgotten? found that in many of the countries where the treatment of Christians had worsened - including Bosnia-Herzegovina and Tanzania - groups of radical Islamists, or a Saudi-backed Wahhabi Islam, were gaining influence.
