Parishes and dioceses are being urged to take up the offer of new resources to help make this a special missionary year for bringing the good news of a loving and merciful Christ to a wider audience
According to the 2011 census, around a quarter of the population in England and Wales reported they have no religion. This represents some 14 million people, a number that has nearly doubled since the 2001 census.
