Links between communities from entirely different cultures are not always easy to establish, but when friendships are forged, the mutual benefits can be immense Inequality THREATENs the world. A common way that parishes in Britain respond to global inequalities is by contributing to Missio and the international development charity Cafod. About eight years ago, the parish of Worth Abbey wanted to do more; and we decided to twin with a parish in the developing world so that we could offer direct help.Some of our parishioners had contacts in Uganda, so a team went to find the best place for a fruitful partnership.
