2017 Pinot Grigio – PONTE DEL DIAVOLO, ITALY

This is a fulsome and flavoursome Pinot Grigio served at two Michelin-starred restaurants. Crafted from grapes grown on the sun drenched, gravelly soils of Friuli in the far north east of Italy, the wine shows a lively, freshly cut pear and baked bread character.

2016 Valençay (Sauvignon Blanc) – SÉBASTIEN VAILLANT, FRANCE

Another wine with a Michelin-starred restaurant listing to its name, this Loire classic is 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Chardonnay (the latter used by winemaker Sébastian to deliver a moreish texture and weight). This is zesty with white grapefruit aromas but has the weight to work with food.

2017 Rosado Larrosa – VINA IZADI RIOJA, SPAIN

Izadi was founded by the Antón family to make premium Rioja wines to share with friends and to be served in their own Michelin-starred restaurant. Their spectacular rosé is a beautiful pale pink and alive with strawberry flavour – a rosé to wow your guests.

2014 Colheita Tinto - QUINTA DOS CARVALHAIS, PORTUGAL

Portugal has a long and illustrious wine-making history, with more native grape varieties than many of its more famous peers. From the Dão region (commonly likened to a Portugese Burgundy), this is a soft and elegant red from a family-owned estate. A unique and appealing treat.

2017 Pinot Noir - THREE LIONS, AUSTRALIA

This is a sophisticated Pinot Noir in an Old World, Burgundian style but made in Western Australia. Grown on the distinctive “Marri” soils of the region (named after the local massive red gum trees) the wine is full of red cherry, toasty oak and savoury forest floor complexity.

2015 Tradition Réserve Syrah - CHÂTEAU LOS BOLDOS, CHILE

A deep, spicy Syrah (Shiraz) to match any Summer barbecue – this bold wine delivers a hugely gratifying hit of blackberry and back pepper. A wine of this intensity comes from a similarly spectacular setting, the foothill of the Andes.
