2.1 To enable you to read the online version and order goods or a subscription through this website we need to collect and use personal data about you (your "Customer Information"). The customer information is all the information requested on the online order forms, and is required to enable us to process your order. Please note that if you have any concerns about submitting customer information online, we will accept the necessary information by post, fax or telephone as indicated on the relevant pages of the website.
2.2 We shall keep your customer information secure and confidential. We warrant that we will maintain a notification with the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 1998, as amended or re-enacted from time to time, for all processing of your customer information. We shall not disclose, sell, rent or share your customer information to any person outside of our group of companies without your consent.
4. Refer a Friend
4.1 The Refer A Friend offer runs until 31 January 2016 (inclusive). After this date no further entries will be permitted.
4.2 To participate in the offer you must provide the following details for both you and your friend:
a. First name
b. Last name
c. Email address
d. Phone number
4.3 Entries must be made via The Tablet’s website referral page
4.4 Offer entry is open to existing paid or newsletter subscribers of The Tablet only.
4.5 Four free issues will be added to an existing subscriber’s account only if their nominated referee takes out a paid subscription to The Tablet via the web form
4.6 Referrers may nominate more than one person as referees but will only receive one reward (four free issues), regardless of how many referees subscribe
4.7 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
4.8 Successful referrers will be notified by email when their friend subscribes and will receive their four free issues automatically. The Tablet reserves the right to contact referrers for verification or administration reasons if necessary.
4.9 Please ensure the email address you use to register is one that you are able to access easily.
4.10 The Tablet reserves the right to terminate or suspend the competition at any time and for any reason with or without notice. The Tablet and agents of The Tablet accept no responsibility for communications going un-noticed, or being delivered to the spam inbox of your email provider.
4.11 The competition is run by The Tablet. The offer, including these terms and conditions, is governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
4.12 By entering into the offer you are acknowledging and accepting these terms and conditions in their entirety. By providing us with your details you are consenting to us contacting you with further information and offers from The Tablet. We will not pass, sell or trade your details with 3rd parties, and you may unsubscribe from any email communication by using the supplied link. For any other questions, please contact us via the details found on our website.
4.13 No cash alternative to the award will be offered. Awards are not transferable. Awards are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any award with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
