It is enough to make Richard Dawkins splutter on his cornflakes: the pages from his book The God Delusion have been turned into a crucifixion scene. The artist Ted Harrison has used torn pages from the renowned atheist’s work to create an acrylic and collage entitled Dawkins’ Delusion. A former BBC religious affairs correspondent, Harrison said the crucifixion work was inspired by the work of the French twentieth-century artist Georges Rouault. He admitted he has yet to inform Dawkins of the artwork, but hopes he will show some interest. “I am hoping he might take umbrage, it would be fun to have a debate – I would be very interested to hear what he makes of it,” Harrison told us. “There is also a serious point to make from the work: that even the utter
