A south-east London cafe that is instrumental to the work of the charity, For Jimmy, established after the murder of 16-year-old Jimmy Mizen, is raising funds needed to restore and re-open after it was badly damaged by a flood in September. The cafe, in Hither Green, opened in 2010 following Jimmy’s death in May 2008. It offers young people – including those with autism – work experience, training and apprenticeships. The new cafe will allow the charity to relaunch and expand.
