Catholic and Anglican clergy will mark St Cecilia’s Day tomorrow in an unusual way – by simultaneously blessing a new website that directs visitors to their nearest service of Evensong or Vespers.The website, www.ChoralEvensong.org, which is due to launch tomorrow, allows people to search for their nearest choral evensong or Vespers service based on their device location. Among those taking part in the online blessing are the Prior of Ampleforth Abbey, Fr Terence Richardson, Canon Christopher Tuckwell of Westminster Cathedral and the Dean of Westminster.Some will light a candle in front of a laptop with the new website running.
