Turning the falls blue


 
The Niagara Falls turned blue last week in honour of the charity Mary’s Meals, which recently announced that it now provides meals to one million children each school day in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The world’s most famous waterfall was illuminated by giant blue spotlights in tribute to the charity, founded by Scottish Catholic Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow in 1992.
