Rome can rest easy, after king of satire Armando Iannucci revealed he is not considering “having a go” at the Vatican.The creator of TV’s The Thick of It, (and its big-screen spin-off In the Loop) and Veep told the latest issue of Third Way magazine he had never “seen it as my mission to… ‘have a real good go’ at the Vatican”, and he said he had “never wanted to denigrate or belittle religious belief”.
