A set of 15 Stations of the Cross by contemporary artists commissioned for Brentwood Cathedral in Essex has been acquired by the prestigious Komechak Art Gallery in Chicago. Works including Jesus Falls the Second Time by Pen Dalton (pictured) will join works by artists such as Chagall and Miró in the gallery of Chicago’s Benedictine University. “Not bad for a little cathedral in Essex,” said the dean, Fr Martin Boland, who commissioned the works. www.thetablet.co.uk/gal
