The start of Lent, which occurs next Wednesday, will see series of talks during the season in parishes and elsewhere.One of the more enterprising venues is St Joseph’s Hospice, in Hackney, which will be hosting former Conservative Party leader, Lord (Michael) Howard of Lympne.
