After the Reformation, not a single significant statue of Mary remained in Lincoln Cathedral, despite the building being dedicated to her. Now, after a gap of 400 years, a seven-foot limestone sculpture of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln has been unveiled in the cathedral.
