IT WAS quite a journey. Sally Gross, who died earlier this year at the age of 60, was born Jewish and, classified as male, was given the name Selwyn. Then, after starting rabbinical studies, he was baptised a Christian and received into the Church, joining the Dominicans and being ordained a priest.
