RATHER THAN just lamenting the lack of Catholic marriages, one church has decided to take action. St Augustine’s, in Hammersmith, west London, is organising speed-dating sessions after the Augustinian friars decided they should try to become matchmakers.“Now, I know that we friars can’t get involved in this … but we do want to help others in the area of romance,” Fr Gianni Notarianni, the parish priest, writes in the parish newsletter. “Fed up with online dating sites?
