Charlie Hebdo ‘lessons’


On the first anniversary of last January’s Islamist attacks on Charlie Hebdo magazine and a kosher supermarket in Paris that killed 17 people, the Bishops’ Conference asked whether France had learned from the tragedy, writes Tom Heneghan. “The country must urgently work with its poorest, fight injustice, treat people with dignity, and accept diversity,” said Archbishop Georges Pontier.
