The joy of love ... for some

Glory to God! Amoris Laetitia is a work of immense love: intelligent, clear and beautifully expressed. Francis has not made any changes to the Church’s core teaching on the family but has flooded it with a great light, illuminating every dark corner of our understanding of love and family life, driving away all possible misconceptions. It will enlighten, encourage and give joy to all. Somehow, miraculously, it manages to address every hurt and every grievance, every sadness, giving us the feeling that we have, at last, been properly listened to and understood. Stuck in a rut, lost or swimming hopelessly against the strong, secular tide, we find ourselves being offered a new way forward.
