I enjoyed Philip Crispin’s article “On Crispin’s day” (24 October). However, I was surprised that there was no mention of Faversham, Kent, which was the traditional home of the two brothers. The town is proud of its association with these Roman martyrs. There is a plaque commemorating them near the historical market square. There is also a chapel dedicated to them in the main church in the town, Our Lady of Charity. In the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Mt Carmel in the
