Fr Julian Shurgold’s letter indicating his delight at the targeted killing of Reyaad Khan (19 September) and scorn for those who have legitimate questions about this serious policy shift is, if I may say so, deeply disturbing coming from a Roman Catholic priest.His use of the term “so-called” in relation to the simple concrete fact that these men were British citizens is perhaps more than a little indicative of his questionable position.
