In Notebook, you reported on the controversy in Limerick City over the clash of dates for First Holy Communion and a concert by One Direction (19 October). A not dissimilar clash of interests happens here in the Archdiocese of Louisville from time to time. Good Friday 2014 is a regular school day for Catholic schools.
