 I have watched with continuing dismay the battle lines being drawn over the marriage question and the Synod on the Family which resumes this autumn. In your edition of 21 March you included in your correspondence a letter from Fr Peter Morgan, explaining why he was declining to sign a letter sent to every priest in England and Wales and calling for “unwavering fidelity to the traditional doctrines regarding marriage and the true meaning of human sexuality”.
