We took the same, somewhat momentous, decision with our eldest daughter, then aged five, 20 years ago – and continued the process with her two younger siblings.Sceptics insisted we should “network” as much as possible with other home-schoolers, to avoid socialisation problems. Our experience in this line fell largely into two categories.
