A decision for all


 
It is sad to see the Church in my native Scotland in such turmoil again (News from Britain and Ireland, 14 February). Both hierarchy and laity continue to reflect dated and inappropriate attitudes towards the necessary changes. Here is a positive opportunity for the Scottish Church to embrace a very basic meaning of inclusivity by welcoming and participating in larger parish groupings which recognise and emphasise how we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.Jeannette Dale, SWINDON, WILTSHIRE I share the concerns about the consultation on the structure of parishes in the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh.
