In Depaul UK, we fully support the plea by Louise Casey, head of the Government’s Troubled Families programme, for a sense of urgency for tackling homelessness (Interview, 13 September). While Depaul in the UK is not – and never was – formally linked to the Bishops’ Conference here, we have close relationships with Vincentian priests and Daughters of Charity, and our international group of six Depaul charities is a full member of the global Vincentian family. Here in the UK we are active members of Caritas Social Action Network and work closely with our sister Vincentian charities.
