Those divorced and remarried Catholics who in good conscience continue to receive Communion and play an active part in their parishes find it difficult to understand the current battles and the tortuous contortions the Church is going through to find a way through this never-ending saga.How sadly ironic that children, who naturally look to their parents as role models in all areas of their young lives, should be prevented from seeing and following them to the sacraments.
