I do wonder how Damian Green and Jacob Rees-Mogg made it on to your list of 100 leading lay Catholics (28 October). Both have appalling records on the “reform” of welfare benefits. Both voted to remove £30 per week from the already measly £103 accorded to disabled people via employment and support allowance, thus ensuring greater poverty for already vulnerable people.
