‘Love is stronger than hate’

At the Church of Notre Dame de France off Leicester Square, a bigger congregation than usual came together last weekend to express a need far deeper than fear Early last Saturday morning, an email from Cardinal Vincent Nichols arrived in the in-box of Fr Pascal Boidin, the rector of Notre Dame de France, the church off Leicester Square that serves London’s French-speaking Catholics. “I was moved when I read it,” says Fr Boidin, a tall, amiable Frenchman, as I meet him on Sunday between services.
