Here we profile them Cardinal Péter ErdöArchbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, Relator general of the SynodLeader of Hungary’s Catholics and Archbishop of Budapest, Cadinal Erdö is one of the most influential conservative figures at the synod. He is a professor of theology and canon law, and was considered papabile before the 2013 conclave.
