Thousands of school pupils travel to the ecumenical community of Taizé in France every year and many are changed by the experience. Fran Walsh explains how schools can build on this when they return home Returning from a week in Taizé this summer, many of our students were eager to recount tales of their time there. However, some, fearing their families or fellow students would not understand, were too apprehensive to share their experiences. Others spoke but encountered indifference or responses they found disheartening.
