I am so pleased to read Fr. Twomey's article on Pope Benedict. I read 'Jesus of Nazareth' as soon as it was available and I found it very difficult - no, impossible - to connect the man described in the press with the author of this wonderful book. I consider his decision to retire was wise and courageous.
