Better the devil they know?

On Tuesday, voters in Israel will determine whether the country continues to be run by a right-leaning Government. But with electoral changes favouring his opponents, Benjamin Netanyahu is looking surprisingly vulnerable PRIME MINISTER Benjamin Netanyahu pushed for an early general election in Israel on 17 March, and at the time he seemed like a shoo-in. After last summer’s Gaza war, which had almost wall-to-wall support among Israel’s Jewish population, the mood in the country lurched sharply to the right.
