An innovative way of spending Holy Week aims to place the custodianship of the planet at the centre of Christian practice, as eco-sceptic Anthony Weaver found out when he shared a farm in Spain with 23 children and a variety of fowl and fur The high-speed train from Madrid took one hour on Wednesday of Holy Week to get me to the former capital of Spain, Valladolid. With Seville and Zamora, the city is famous for its Holy Week processions, involving huge floats with polychrome sculptures, accompanied by bands playing solemn music, penitents in chains and ladies in mantillas.
