At the very moment when the Catholic Church in America is becoming more Latino, it is also losing Hispanics. An authoritative new study concludes that greater effort is needed to prevent them drifting away from their faith The numbers are staggering. There are now 29.7 million Hispanic Catholics in the United States, despite the fact that a significant percentage of them leave the Church either before coming to the US or once they arrive.
