Hanging washing out to dry, I noticed a sycamore seedling. Only a few inches, if left here it might be 10ft tall this time next year. Prolific, fast growing and one of our tallest trees, sycamores are a forest in waiting. Where had it come from? As far as I know, there aren’t any sycamores growing in our village.
