When I visited St Joseph’s joint Catholic-Anglican secondary school in Wrexham, Wales, I was impressed by the evidence of gospel values everywhere. A student-led tour included the playing fields as gospel values where, even in PE, pupils are taught to play with compassion for their opponents.
“We care if someone falls over on the opposite side,” said one student. This was echoed by other pupils and staff.
“Faith is the most important value because without faith there is nothing,” said a pupil.
