My family had some lovely associations with Cardinal Cormac. They began when he was Bishop of Arundel and Brighton, with his confirmation of my son when he was a pupil at St Joseph’s, a diocesan special school, and his playing the piano at his home in Storrington for teenage Easter pilgrims, including one of my daughters, who had walked from Arundel Cathedral to Worth Abbey, writes Sheila Hollins.
