All Saints church in Aldwincle is ‘now offered as an upmarket camping venue’


 
What is a church for? I don’t mean the gathering of people with their bishop, but the building that worshippers use when they say: “I’m just off to church, don’t forget to feed the cat.”Last week the Daily Mail reported that “dwindling congregations mean thousands of historic churches may only open at Christmas and Easter under radical plans proposed by the Church of England”.
