Singing priests fill me with the same gloomy embarrassment as nuns playing football


 
Easter, like Christmas, is usually a quiet news time when papers feel they should report something religious. But this Easter there was quite a bit of news around anyway, much of it about Christians getting killed.Lest the massacres dampen the Easter-egg hunt, The Times leavened the mix with some religiose human-interest stories. It has a thing about singing priests.
