A triathlon is a dynamic and surprisingly theologically complete image of the Trinity


 

As those of you who read this column regularly may be aware I quite often find myself struggling for usable images of the Trinity.

“Usable” here means a number of slightly different things, because one of the “features” of any God-worthy-of-worship is ineffability, or mystery, or being beyond our capacity to imagine or not limited by the limits of our imaginations.
